Harassment policy and gender equality

Welcome to the website of the Confidential Contact Persons (Guides) and the Equal Opportunities Commissioners of our Faculty

The Faculty of Philosophy attaches great importance to treating each other with appreciation, respect and non-discrimination. All members and affiliates are called upon to implement the principles set out in the Senate's guidelines for fair conduct, whether in teaching, committee meetings, academic discussions or one-to-one conversations.

However, if you have experienced a situation in which these principles have been violated or boundaries crossed, you are welcome to contact our Guides for GUIDE. As part of GUIDE - the procedure for dealing with conflicts and misconduct at the university - they strengthen the anti-discrimination network alongside the already established confidential contact points as an initial contact opportunity. They are familiar with the paths and contact persons at the university and can make targeted referrals. All conversations are of course confidential.

Equal Opportunities Commissioners of our Faculty

The Equal Opportunities Commissioners advise the faculty on equal opportunities issues and pay attention to equal opportunities in various personnel law processes such as appointment procedures, particularly with regard to gender, origin, marital status, religion, disability or sexual identity. If you have any questions in this regard or need a confidential discussion, you are welcome to contact our Equal Opportunities Commissioners. Consultation hours take place by appointment and are confidential.
